INDICATED USE: Radiation monitoring
SYSTEM OPERATION: Typically located at the scale/entrance area. The system will continuously monitor incoming materials for radiation.
DETECTORS: thick shielded NaI(Tl) scintillation detectors in NEMA 4x weather tight enclosures.
DISPLAY: 4 digit LED display with 0.8"(2 cm) high characters
DISPLAY UNITS: kCPM
STATUS:(green light) indicates the instrument is functioning properly
LOW ALARM: Indicated by yellow LOW ALARM light and slow beep (1 per second) audible tone (can be set at any point from 0.0 - 9999)
HIGH ALARM: Indicated by red HIGH ALARM light and slow beep (4 per second) audible tone (can be set at any point from 0.0 - 9999)
LOW BAT: (yellow) indicates less than 2 hours of battery power remaining.
OVERLOAD: Senses detector saturation (indicated by display reading "-OL-") OVERRANGE: Indicates radiation field being measured has exceeded counting range of instrument (indicated by display reading "----")
REMOTE(optional): Allows for connection of red strobe for remote indication of an alarm
BATTERY CHARGER: Battery is continuously trickle charged when instrument is connected to line power and turned on
TEMPERATURE RANGE: -20 degrees F(-29 degrees C) to 140 degrees F(60 degrees C)
